program for k-3rd grade girls.

• We exist as a program to use the medium of lacrosse to teach life lessons of teamwork, courage to try something new, healthy activity, gross motor development, listening, focus, respect and sportsmanship. 
• We as a program will encourage each athlete to do her best at all times, even when it’s something new and unfamiliar. 
• We as a program will encourage healthy competition, mainly with oneself, to find intrinsic motivation to continue to improve. We will not use competition as a way to measure one’s value to a program, nor will we rank or play girls according to current skill level. Our job as coaches is to take the important skills of determination, good attitudes, respect, listening and doing your very best and then DEVELOP them into players. We can work with anyone who has a good attitude. We believe in healthy competition and we will do all that we can to foster this. Healthy competition includes learning to win and learning to lose. We are not of the win at all costs mentality. 
• We as a program, exist to foster a love for active, healthy lifestyles and competition that exist long past glory days of high school and for the few, collegiate level. 
• We accept any player who comes ready to listen and respond with a great attitude regardless of level of athleticism.  
• We,  as a program, exist to teach teamwork. This is not a show for those that this sport comes naturally to. There will be skill development for each player while developing intrinsic motivation for each girl to progress at their own pace with enthusiastic support and coaching instruction. 
• We, as a program, exist to teach this amazing game of lacrosse which is growing exponentially while “respecting the game”.  
• We, as a program, exist to have FUN. Girls who are intrinsically motivated fall in love with a life long sport. Life has become so intense for little kids that they need an outlet, a release to be a
